Depth control module MCG 5
The MKG depth control module is designed to control and record the speed of movement and the depth of the downhole instruments. The depth data is used to link the data taken by autonomous downhole instruments to the depth.
The depth data is recorded in digital form in the internal memory of the MKG-5 at intervals of 0.5 seconds. Flash memory is used as memory, which allows saving information when the power sources are turned off.
During the registration process, the depth and speed of the downhole instrument are displayed on the indicators. The depth is shown in meters
The accuracy of depth registration is determined by the accuracy of the depth measurement sensor used and the accuracy of the adjustment for wear of the measuring roller.
After the measurement process, the information is read into the computer for processing. The exchange between the MKG-5 and the computer occurs via the USB interface. The data can be displayed on the computer screen in digital and graphic form, printed on a printer or transferred to other data processing programs.
The depth data is used to link the data taken by autonomous downhole instruments to the depth.
